Precious moments

For some moments in life you might like having an ever lasting memory of it. There can be a wonderful reason for this.
But the reason might also be a sad or difficult one. For example, when you have to say goodbye to a beloved one. Or maybe you want to have something of great importance to you professionally recorded. From my own experience I know how valuable video of those special moments can be in the future.

Portraying personal stories and precious moments have my special interest.
Characteristic of my style of filming are detailed and observational scenes where people reflect on their lives in narrative form. Or with a subject that matters to them: something that is often an essential part of or gives meaning to their lives.
With this I make a film portrait as a lasting memory. As a legacy or to inspire others.

These kind of film projects are often too personal to show on a public website. If you are interested in such a film project or if you have questions about it, please let me know. I can then show you how I work, display finished projects and tell what style choices are close to me. And how a lasting memory can be made in consultation with you. Please contact me if you have any questions or ideas about this. I’d like to think along with you.

Ruth's orange piano

A personally precious moment is my meeting with Ruth and her piano.
For some people a music instrument is nothing more than just a tool to create music with. But a music instrument can mean so much more than just that. We had a conversation about her orange piano and she told me that this piano has been her travel buddy for more than 28 years.
The result of this conversation has become a tribute to her touching bond with this special instrument which I would love to show you in this short film (English subtitles are included).
